"Bat Jewish Art is an original 7 color serigraph and embossed etching by Canadian master printmaker Ian Kochberg. It has been hand-pulled by the artist onto 260 LB Saunders Waterford Paper. In an edition limited world-wide to 250, plus 25 artistís proofs & 2 studio proofs. The outermost ring, in Hebrew, is adapted from the traditional prayer recited for a baby girl: Just as she has entered into the covenant, so may she enter into Torah, the martial canopy, and good deeds. The music, which has been transcribed into Neumes, the notation of the middle ages, is the music to the prayer LíDor Vídor (To every Generation). The Chain, in silver and gold represents the linking together of each generation. In the centre, the dove represents love and commitment.
